These oven baked zucchini fries and turnip with guacamole are one of my favorite comfort foods. The riper the avocado, the fuller in taste. Also vary with sweeter root vegetables such as carrot, parsnip, butternut squash or sweet potato for a carbohydrate boost after exercise.
