I am so happy that I can finally share this recipe with you because my blueberries from my own garden are ripe! What? I hear you think .. believe me, this was a must! I have been walking with a berry pie in my head for a while but only wanted to make it if I could use my berries from my own garden. Yesterday it finally happened. I walked into the garden and the most perfect blueberries were waiting for me. Beautiful big and great in color .. time for cake! It was too good weather to be in the kitchen for centuries and I also had a cake with dates in my head so I went for the simplest basis I could think of. This raw vegan date cake with chocolate and a good layer of caramel was the result. And guys .. I don't like to brag, but this cake is delicious! berries and chocolate is always a good idea, but the caramel in between makes it really finger-licking good!
