Since last week I write recipes for the Glamor site. Never thought I'd ever blog for such fun channels, something I'm really happy with! Now I have to say that I want to stay very original and creative, but sometimes I really have zero inspiration! My great examples like Angela Liddon (oh she glows) and Sarah Britton (my new roots) are geniuses and seem to conjure up the most delicious recipes every day. I'm fiddling around most of the time but hey, how much can go wrong when you use tasty ingredients, I always think! Fortunately it goes well more often and I am able to surprise myself every now and then. Like last week, I was making a smoothie (standard chocolate smoothie because I was in the mood for something sweet) when I found out that everything, but really everything, was finished. I already mixed water and bananas but the dates, carob powder and maca were gone! I am not someone who throws something away quickly so I had to think about what I could do with it. It did not taste wrong, texture of vegetable milk but with the taste of banana. So I decided to use it as milk, with some fresh raspberries and oatmeal this turned into a great healthy breakfast. Do you feel like something else or do not feel like shopping but bananas at home then this is a must from now on!
