Ice Cream & Desserts
I have a weakness for a few things. One is making popsicles yourself. We used to do this when my sister and I were little almost every weekend. It started with those long water ice creams in a plastic bag that you had to put in the freezer yourself. Not very exciting because you didn't have to do anything else. But they were certainly tasty, the reds were always the first (berry flavor is always the best!) After this we made ice cream from dane. Some more was asked of you here, namely putting a stick in the dance and patience while it was in the freezer. When we were about 10 years old, the real work started. We were allowed to mix yogurt with fruit and some honey and make our own ice cream. This was great, not only did it look nice and we made it ourselves .. we were allowed to eat them afterwards. I think this is where the foundation for my enjoyment of cooking has been laid. Now, 15 years later, from the first day of spring, homemade ice creams are standard in the freezer and things get a lot more professional. Yogurt has made way for homemade yogurt and where we first made ice creams in plastic cups, I have now ordered special magnum tins (looks a bit nicer;)). They came in last weekend and I immediately got to work. I have to say ... my first vegan raspberry magnums have been approved !! Berries, coconut and chocolate are a great combination. Do you have time this weekend? Then make your own ice creams!
