It is December 5 today! The best day of the year because it is Sinterklaas's birthday! This means at our home all sitting around a mountain of gifts, laughing at each other's poems, enjoying being with the whole family and eating a lot! We all take some dishes with us so that we have a kind of walking buffet. This year I can do the snacks. Of course I will make gingerbread, speculoos, I will bring an apple pie with tea and some pieces of superfood chocolate. Because my mom takes several salads with me and everyone here loves croutons I said I will make these too (am not a big fan of bagged croutons)! These roasted chickpea croutons are easy to make. Normally I eat these as a snack or sprinkle them on my soup, but I think they will also taste great with a salad! Do you have chickpeas left? Then make this delicious hummus!
