Romanesco with seitan steak, caramelized onion and potatoes

Living the Green Life

Is it a cauliflower or a broccoli? Torentjes cauliflower, or romanesco, is related to the cauliflower but tastes a bit softer. Romanesco gets its name from the first description in sixteenth century Italy as broccolo romanesco or broccoli from Rome. Today we eat the seitan steak from Bertyn with this delicious broccoli. A meat substitute that we have wanted for a long time in the meal box. Bertyn is vegan, delicious in taste and high in protein, which makes it perfect as a supplement to any vegan dish!
