In my spare time I prefer to be in the kitchen. Coming up with new recipes and blogging about them has started as a hobby (it still is), but is starting to take on more serious forms. As you may know I now write for quite a few nice sites such as glamour.nl, modern hippies, ilovehealth and fitgirlcode. It's true what they say .. turn your hobby into a job and you'll never have to work for a day again! I enjoy it every moment and when I am working I am in the kitchen for 4 hours. Still, on 'regular' days, when my friend and I go to our other work and our little one to the babysitter, I increasingly turn to the easy recipes. Because there is no time for fresh banana bread or blueberry pancakes on such a busy morning. Our girl now mainly eats solid food so the trick is to think of something in the morning that we can all eat and also like. The smoothie bowl has been my lifesaver lately! All good ingredients in a blender, pour into containers, decorate with our favorite fruit and tadaa .. our 2 minute breakfast. What is left we pour in a big bottle and go to the babysitter (my in-laws) and get them there when my girl is hungry again. We never throw anything away like this! Two weeks ago I already shared the recipe for our mango smoothie bowl. Because there are many people who like berries a bit more, I have a raspberry variety today. Deliciously filling, super easy and very healthy!
