Vegan pancakes with raspberry

Living the Green Life

I can't do without vegetable milk. It comes in almost every recipe, from pies to smoothies, from banana ice cream to curries and vegan pancakes. There is always a bottle of homemade almond milk in the fridge. I often make it myself, but it often happens that I don't have time for that (soaking almonds always takes quite a while). Then I am always happy when I have a ready-made suit. Healthy People has recently added two delicious new flavors of vegetable drinks to their range. Almond drink and Rice drink! I wanted to try these. I was especially curious about the rice drink. I have already drank this several times from other brands. I always found the taste a bit musty and therefore preferred to use almond milk or coconut milk in my recipes. Healthy People's rice drink is different. It's less watery and milder in flavor than the rice milk I've tried before. This makes it perfect in breakfasts, for example because of your oatmeal it is delicious! I then tried the almond drink. Everyone knows almond milk by now, it sometimes has a somewhat bitter taste. Not this one! Just like the rice drink, the taste is wonderfully refreshing. Funny thing is that I haven't drunk a glass of milk since I eat vegan. I often use vegetable milk in recipes, but to drink it loose, I find it less successful. Timo is also less of a fan of that. Still, the suits of Healthy People are mainly drunk and not used in the kitchen ..! Because I wanted to know how the almond drink did in my Sunday morning vegan pancakes, I was able to save a bit. Fortunately, because these raspberry pancakes really were the end! A good vegetable drink is half the battle, as it turns out !! You can now find the drinks from Healthy People in the refrigerator compartment. Unlike other types of milk, these drinks must be kept refrigerated. The almond drink is 2.29 and the rice drink is 2.19.
