Chestnuts give these pancakes a wonderfully characteristic and warming taste; a bit nutty, but less heavy. Nice to vary with, or when you are sensitive to nuts and do not like coconut. Moreover, the batter is very easy to bake with, as long as you do not turn the heat too high, the pancakes will not burn easily.
