Smoothies & (Smoothie) Bowls
Many Dutch people (who live in Spain) went wild when they saw that kale was available in the supermarket. Everyone went en masse to the kale stew. That's what I, Nicole, saw in a certain facebook group where this was shared. Well, I bought it right away when I saw it. Only then for a smoothie. It took some getting used to, as Stijn and I have a strong preference for spinach in our green smoothie. Only we know how important it is to alternate with leafy vegetables because of phytate. Kale is even better than spinach, as it is a winter vegetable with the most vitamins and minerals and therefore super healthy! Think of vitamin A, folic acid, calcium and iron. Kale provides a lot of energy, provides good resistance, ensures bone production and prevents anemia. How cool is BoerCOOL? ;-)
