Normally you see red wine in the preparation with stewed pears. We wanted to keep it alcohol-free. Although we are not averse to a glass of wine. ;-) Stijn came up with the cool idea of using homemade raspberry juice. Well why not. Nice experiment! After blending the raspberries with water, I poured it into the cooker pan with the pears. Wow, that looked pink in the slow cooker! The raspberries give the pears a sweet and at the same time a nice acidity. Taste it yourself.
