Beetroot juice, a miracle cure The first sip of beet juice is never nice. It is a taste that you have to get used to. Still, it is worth continuing, because beet juice is a lot good for you! BEETLE JUICE HEALTHY The juice of the beet is very healthy, it supports your body during the natural detox process (detoxification). Beets increase your resistance, also contain cancer-inhibiting substances, give you more energy and work wonders for acne. BEET JUICE FOR MORE ENERGY The juice works wonders when you exercise intensively and can use some extra energy. Beets are a natural source of nitrate. This substance is converted into nitrite in your body, which in turn is converted into nitrite oxide. The latter does a lot for your body. When you have an increased amount of nitrite oxide in your blood, your body needs less oxygen to do an activity. It actually lowers your oxygen consumption. Simply put, it costs your body less oxygen to perform the same activity. Which improves your performance. It is therefore not surprising that runners and cyclists often drink beet juice. BEET JUICE FOR HEALTHY SKIN I started drinking beet juice for my skin. For a long time I suffered from acne. This has been largely refurbished when I switched to a plant-based diet. Especially the omission of dairy products worked wonders! Still, I wasn't quite happy yet. In several books I read that beet juice would help against acne. As you read earlier, the beet has an anti-inflammatory effect and helps detoxify your liver. Detoxing in particular is very important. A detoxified body has clean blood, which reduces the risk of acne. I tried it and the results are great. My skin is super calm and looks healthy! It is important that you drink beet juice in the morning, before breakfast. This would give the best results! RECIPES You can of course buy beet juice in the store. Every organic store now has a juice with beets in its range. But if you have a juicer, just make your juice yourself! Pure beet juice has a rather heavy taste, so I have three different recipes that make drinking beet juice a bit more pleasant. Because mixed with a piece of fruit, lemon or ginger it can actually be tasty!
