This cauliflower and garlic mash is a super simple but unbelievably delicious Paleo side dish. You can easily replace the (sweet) potato in your meals with this mash. This flavorsome mash combines perfectly with all kinds of meat/fish/chicken and vegetables.

Snipper the onion, finely chop the garlic and cut the cauliflower into florets.

Cut the cauliflower in plenty of boiling salted water for approximately 8 minutes until cooked.

Drain the florets in a colander.

Heat some coconut oil in a frying pan and glaze the onion and garlic.

Blend the drained cauliflower with the onion and garlic mixture in a food processor or hand blender until it resembles mash.

Add the olive oil while you are blending the mash.

Season the mash to taste with salt and pepper.
