Fruit is very healthy, the nutrition center recommends eating two pieces of fruit a day, but what many people don't know is that you could live on fruit only (provided you don't do too strenuous things). Fruit consists of fructose, this is the fastest converted of all products in the world into glucose, which our body likes very much because it lives on this substance. Eating a lot of fruit (more than 2 pieces) is only good for you. Because a nice piece of orange, kiwi, banana or apple contains all the vitamins and minerals that you need as a person. In addition, fruit cleanses your body. This all sounds great right? There is only one but attached. It is important to remember that if you want your body to enjoy all the benefits that fruit has to offer, you must eat it properly. How this works is in fact very simple, when you take a bite from your date or eat a grape, your body needs up to 45 minutes to get all the nutrients from that snack. When all substances are absorbed by the body, you can grab something else. But if you eat your fruit together with something that takes a long time to digest, there is a chance that the fruit will ferment in your stomach. Here you will not notice anything else that the nutrients are lost. So it makes little sense to eat fruit. But how do you eat fruit? Try to limit eating your favorite fruit to a time of the day. This moment is with me in the morning. I don't have to take into account other food that is still being digested. Furthermore, eating fruit in the morning also does a lot of good for your teeth. Fruit acids can affect your enamel if you eat fruit throughout the day, this is always an attack on your teeth. You don't have to deal with this if you limit eating fruit to one moment! So before I start my day and before my extensive breakfast, I always drink a liter of homemade juice. A perfect way to get a lot of different fruits. A while ago I said that I had bought a slow juicer, I use it with pleasure and make the best juices with it. On Sunday evening I prep 2 days ahead because I really love my juice but don't get up earlier! All the cut pieces of fruit go on a big mountain and then enter the juicer. So it is always a surprise how it will taste. For 3 bottles (1 for my friend, 2 for me) I use quite a bit of fruit, depending on the season and therefore what is available. At the moment this mango pineapple juice is a favorite!
