Because once in a while we have to go back to basics. A smoothie is an ideal way of increasing your intake of vegetables and fruit. Not too keen on green smoothies? Start with fruit smoothies and gradually add more vegetables. In the end you'll discover that you're using less fruit and still enjoy it!
Lemon (the juice)
Peel and dice the apple. Peel the orange and cut into segments and the celery into pieces.
Put all the ingredients into the blender and blend. Hey presto, it's ready.
